Recycling policy
Paper
Although paper is still necessary for business use, we are committed to a policy whereby only critical documents are printed, all paper is reused where possible on the reverse and, ultimately, 100% of paper used is recycled.
Lingo24 employees:
- only use paper which is either recycled or comes from a sustainable source such as that paper approved by the Forestry Stewardship Council
- use double sided printing whenever possible.
- save paper printed on one side for subsequent re-use.
- only print paper when necessary to send to business contacts or where extensive checking on a computer screen is undesirable for health and safety reasons.
- shred all confidential documents and have the paper recycled near their homes.
Ink cartridges, mobile phones, computers and peripherals
Lingo24 employees recycle the above goods through Oxfam or other charities where it is appropriate to do so. In some cases, it is more practical to send used ink cartridges, for example, back to the manufacturer for re-filling.
